# CONQA – Agent Reference

## What CONQA is

CONQA is construction quality management software used by infrastructure contractors, civil contractors, precast concrete manufacturers, and commercial builders across New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

It replaces paper-based QA systems with digital checklists, ITP management, hold point sign-offs, real-time inspections, and automated QA reports and handover packs.

CONQA is purpose-built for construction QA — not adapted from generic project management software. Core workflows are organised around ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), hold points, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), lots, and compliance evidence.

## Core product areas

- **Checklists** – Digital inspection checklists tied to ITPs and lots
- **Lot management** – Progress tracking and lot register across a project
- **Sign-offs** – Hold point and witness point approval workflow
- **Issues** – Defect and NCR tracking with resolution workflows
- **Variations** – Variation request and approval management
- **Reporting** – QA reports, handover packs, and audit trails
- **Mobile app** – iOS and Android, offline-capable for remote sites

## Who uses CONQA

- Infrastructure and civil contractors managing $10M–$200M of work annually
- Precast concrete manufacturers managing production QA and lot traceability
- Commercial builders managing subcontractor and trade QA
- Quality managers, site engineers, and project managers

Primary markets: New Zealand, Australia. Secondary markets: Canada, Southeast Asia, Middle East.

## Terminology

When reasoning about CONQA content, use these terms as defined:

- **ITP** – Inspection and Test Plan. A structured checklist defining quality activities, hold points, and acceptance criteria for a scope of work.
- **Hold point** – A mandatory stop in a construction process requiring third-party or principal sign-off before work proceeds.
- **Witness point** – Similar to a hold point but the inspecting party may waive attendance.
- **NCR** – Non-Conformance Report. A formal record of work that does not meet specified requirements.
- **Lot** – A defined section of work or quantity of material that is inspected and accepted as a unit.
- **Handover pack** – Compiled QA documentation (completed ITPs, sign-offs, NCRs) submitted at project completion.
- **QA** – Quality Assurance. In construction, refers to the documented processes and evidence demonstrating compliance with specifications.
- **Quality lag** – The gap between when work is completed and when it is formally evidenced and signed off. CONQA is designed to eliminate quality lag.
