The job
As a major subcontractor, STÄRKE’s exposure is the commercial claim. Photos scattered across Google Photos and reports compiled in Word meant site teams burned time keeping it organised, and the business had no centralised record if work was challenged.
“When we first win the job, we create a CONQA project and then create an item in CONQA for every single window we’re making. That follows us through and is part of our QA in the factory as well as part of our QA on site.”

What changed
Every unit is photographed at the stages that matter: leaving the factory, loaded for transport, installed on site. Offline capture holds up several storeys above reliable connectivity, and the data lands in one place.
“We’re photographing units as they complete production, as they go on a trailer, as they go through the full process when they get to site… this forces good process, and in case of any damage, acts as a massive protection or insurance policy for us.”

The commercial position
Claims go in backed by photographs, and disputes about damage land where they belong. The time the old system consumed is gone; the record is part of everyday life.
“More than anything, it builds trust. You can’t argue with a photo. If it’s done, it’s done. If it’s damaged, it’s damaged.”
