About CONQA
At CONQA, we’re on a mission to make work better for the people who build our world. Our software helps construction teams deliver quality work with less stress: improving how projects are managed, tracked, and handed over.
We’re a growing team across New Zealand and Australia who value curiosity, initiative, and the kind of energy that makes teams (and customers) excited to work with us.
About the role
We’re looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel CONQA’s next stage of growth.
You’ll be 100% focused on outbound lead generation, finding the right people, starting conversations, and booking meetings that turn into opportunities. You’ll work closely with our Account Executives and Marketing team to create a steady pipeline of qualified leads across NZ, AU, and other emerging markets.
It’s a role for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to build a long-term career in SaaS sales.
What you'll do
- Research and identify potential customers that fit our ideal customer profile
- Execute outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Generate new opportunities and book qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate data and activity tracking in HubSpot
- Collaborate with Marketing to test outreach sequences and messaging
- Stay on top of industry trends and contribute to market insights
- Represent CONQA at occasional events, meetups, or partner forums
What success looks like
- Consistent monthly activity, calls, emails, and meetings booked
- A healthy, qualified pipeline that converts to opportunities
- Positive feedback from prospects and Account Executives
- Clear understanding of target industries and customer needs
Who you are
- 1–2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or customer outreach (SaaS or construction tech a plus)
- Confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people and driving first contact
- Organised and metrics-driven, you know how to manage pipelines and stay on target
- Resilient and optimistic, with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Tech-savvy, comfortable using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Google Workspace
- Curious, coachable, and motivated to learn how world-class sales teams operate
Why you'll love working here
- Purpose-driven: Help transform how the construction industry delivers quality work
- Growth: Learn from experienced sales leaders and develop your career
- Culture: A collaborative, high-energy team that celebrates progress and impact
- Flexibility: Hybrid work from Auckland or Melbourne
